Colorful Mind metal print by Cara Frafjord. Bring your artwork to life with the stylish lines and added depth of a metal print. Your image gets printed directly onto a sheet of 1/16" thick aluminum. The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. The high gloss of the aluminum sheet complements the rich colors of any image to produce stunning results.

This piece was inspired after having my eyes dilated for an eye exam and noticing the colors and fragmented pieces of vibrant colors behind my lids; further thinking of color slides for science class I began playing, with these results.
About Cara Frafjord
My name is Cara Frafjord and I live in Stillwater, Minnesota with my family. I started drawing and painting to heal and continue as a means of celebrating my surroundings. I specialize in small format art for tiny homes and small spaces. I work out of home studio and on the road from my camper six months per year. I enjoy dabbling from one medium to another such as watercolor pencils, ink, oil and soft pastels, beeswax, encaustic wax and anything else I can experiment with. I enjoy working with heat due to its unpredictability. My art can sometimes be confused with photography due to the light play and detail, however, my art is handmade.
