My name is Cara Frafjord and I live in Stillwater, Minnesota with my family. I started drawing and painting to heal and continue as a means of celebrating my surroundings. I specialize in small format art for tiny homes and small spaces. I work out of home studio and on the road from my camper six months per year. I enjoy dabbling from one medium to another such as watercolor pencils, ink, oil and soft pastels, beeswax, encaustic wax and anything else I can experiment with. I enjoy working with heat due to its unpredictability. My art can sometimes be confused with photography due to the light play and detail, however, my art is handmade.
